A menace created on a rest room wall drew a hefty law enforcement existence to the College of Victoria Friday (Dec. 2).
Saanich police were being called Dec. 2 close to 10 a.m. about a capturing danger published on a rest room wall in the Cornett Developing and promptly evacuated men and women from the making.
“We have since evacuated the building, and considered it harmless but continue being on campus while we examine,” Saanich law enforcement said in a statement.
The incident is eerily equivalent to a Nov. 30 at nearby Oak Bay Significant, where pupils ended up despatched property early in an “abundance of caution.”
“While the concept is very similar to just one observed at a local superior university a couple days ago, we are unable to confirm at this time if the suspect(s) is the similar,” Saanich police mentioned in a statement.
We have cleared the Cornett Constructing and deemed it to be risk-free. We will be remaining on campus to conduct patrols of the area.
